Mis papás se quedaron ahi justo los dias que hubo la tormeta tropical y un rio se desbordo justo en el hotel, hubo cero medidas de contingencia en hotel, no hubo luz, ni agua ni alimentos por dos dias! goteras en todas las intalaciones y ningún apoyo por parte del hotel, ninguna evacuación en su habitación, el agua creció 3 metros en el lobby! mis papas se tuvieron que ir del lugar por lo peligroso, se mojaron sus cosas y perdieron muchas otras por el rio, entre esas su camioneta que estaba estacionada en el hotel y aun asi no se hacen no quieren hacer el reembolso de hospedaje!!!! Pésimo servicio pusieron en peligro la vida de mi familia!

Aunque es Resort con todo incluido deja mucho que desear. La comida está bien más no buenísima. Las recámara limpias pero las camas, aunque tienen "pad" están duras y las almohadas planas. No es de cinco ni de cuatro estrellas particularmente por el costo. El personal y su amabilidad depende de csfa uno. No todos atienden como se debe.

Excelente hotel, las comidas riquisimas las habitaciones muy ampleas y comodas, padrisimas las albercas muy grandes. Y los ampleados muy amables. Espero algun dia volver a los cabos y hospedarme en este hotel que esta padrisimo se los recomiendo.

Llevo años viajando en.diferentes hoteles en general con buenas experiencias, pero en el Riu tuve la peor experiencia en mi vida, una persona no quizo atender x no darle propina inmediatamente, originando un conflicto y el sr de recepcion intento corrernos sin devolver mi dinero al grado de que se llamo a la patrulla y akbe detenido arbitrariamente,.una vez que sali no me dejaron ir x mis pertenencias y me ultrajaron dinero que estaba en mi cartera, en verdad pesima experiencia vacacional y opcion. La alberca y vista al mar son muy bonitas, los restaurantes y comida muy buenas, pero el hotel es viejo y le falta mantenimiento, Al llegar no hay quien lleve tus maletas a tu habitación, y el hotel está tan grande que prácticamente hay que recorrer siete cuadras bajo el rayo del sol, para poder llegar a las habitaciones con vista al mar ( y eso es entre comillas, porque en realidad la vista es hacia la alberca y tienes que asomarte por un lado del balcón para alcanzar a ver el mar; son muy pocas las habitaciones con vista frontal al mar) las cuales son las únicas que cuentan con elevador para poder accesar a tu habitación. Las demás (de vista a los pasillos y jardines ) hay que subir hasta 4 pisos de escaleras para poder llegar. Las habitaciones con mobiliario viejo y anticuado, la t.v. muy pequeña y con señal pirata. Hay que estar pidiendo cosas tan sencillas como jabón y toallas ( súper viejas y ásperas ) las almohadas chicas y apachurradas, tuve que comprar unas para poder dormir cómodamente, en el mini bar la cerveza estaba caduca y sin gas y tenía que estar pidiendo que las cambiaran a diario, pero las que traían estaban casi en las mismas condiciones. El personal es muy atento y se esfuerzan en atenderte, pero esas habitaciones están solo para pasar la noche y ya!. Si tú idea es tener una experiencia de lujo y confort en todos los aspectos, este hotel no es una buena opción. Las fotografías no reflejan la realidad. Jamás regresaría...no lo recomiendo, hay mejores opciones.

acabo de visitarlo en dias pasados y me regrese fascinada del hotel, el personal es excelente todos los dias hay diversas actividades para niños y grandes la comida es deliciosa y las bebidas tambien todo el dia las 24 horas tienes comida y bebida, las instalaciones son muy limpias un poco conservadoras pero agradables, super cerca del malecon, las habitaciones cuentan con un frigobar que surten todos los dias, en las albercas cuentas con meseros que te atienden hasta tu lugar de verdad lo recomiendo muchisisisimo no se van arepentir

Pésima atención. Camas con colchones viejos y duros, ropa de cama vieja, el personal de limpieza de las habitaciones gritando en los pasillos echando chisme a las 8 am sin respeto a los huéspedes. Pides servicios a recepción desde la habitación y nunca llegan. Pe Di una cama adicional y almohadas y nunca llegaron. Lo peor, personal de limpieza son rateros, olvide mi celular en la habitación al salir, y mas tarde en dar 10 pasos y regresar y ya no estaba xq estaban haciendo ya la limpieza, y resulta que nadie lo vio. En recepción al dar la queja nadie se hace responsable y solo te piden que envíes correos a ver q pasa. Pero eso si, carísimo. Además las mucamas limpian muy mal las habitaciones

Estuve de vacaciones hace una semana y todo me pareció muy bien, excepto 3 puntos a considerar que deberían de mejorar. La habitación tiene televisión muy antigua, la habitación estaba muy alejada de la playa (tal vez porque me toco en el edificio 1) y los baños cerca de las albercas eran escasos. Todo lo demás muy bien, el personal no recibió de una manera muy amable.

Creo q este hotel tiene una buena ubicación, las instalaciones son muy grandes lo que complica un poco la movilidad. La reacción al huracán del día 6 de septiembre a mi parecer fue oportuna para evitar accidentes. Las habitaciones con "vista al mar" realmente son muy pocas a como lo manejan, ya que te dan una habitación con esa clasificación y en realidad no ves nada más que la fuente central. La comida es regular.

Pésima atención del subgerente Jose Pague habitación con vista al mar y solo se veían palmeras y en el horizonte el mar. El maletero me aventó la puerta porque se tardaron mas de 6 horas en subir mi equipaje y le dije no le daría propina. si me hubieran dado la habitación en el momento que la prometieron mi equipaje hubiera estado 4 horas antes en la habitación. El responsable de limpiar la alberca en la noche/madrugada me robo mi celular. Deja mucho que desear al venderlo como hotel de 5 estrellas.

Desde la recepción con un cálido y amable recibimiento del joven de lentes, accesible en nuestras peticiones y todo se nos otorgó; Julio el bell boy por su rápida y agradable atención, la señora Carmela que hacía la limpieza de nuestra habitación; Veneralda y Diana, meseras del restaurante Torote junto con el chef de la estación Mexicana. En el restaurante La Baja California un especial agradecimiento y cariñoso saludo al capitán Ulises por su amable atención, a Josué, Manuel, Magdalena, Santos y Erica meseros y cocinera del lugar. Juanito junto con todas las chicas del staff de animadores felicitaciones. Al joven del carrito de las bebidas en la zona de la alberca principal, al joven que nos ofrecía bebidas en La Monumental durante los shows, al servicio de toallas y demás personal que nos atendió muy amablemente. Una observación al capitán del restaurante La Misión y al gerente del staff de animación, le dan una atención diferente al cliente nacional. Un reconocimiento a toda nuestra gente de México que trabaja en el hotel: Chiapas, San Luis Potosí, Puerto Vallarta, Monterrey, Coahuila y en su mayoría de Guerrero, todos gente muy trabajadora, honrada, que disfruta y valora su trabajo. Felicidades al Hotel Riu porque además de la excelente atención y bellas instalaciones recibí buenos comentarios de su personal, estan contentos de pertenecer a la empresa Riu, eso habla muy bien de ustedes. Agradable hotel con excelente ubicación en Cabo San Lucas, cuenta con una vista privilegiada del extremo sur de la península de Baja California. En definitiva pasamos unas vacaciones familiares inolvidables. Regresaremos con gusto. Muy recomendable. Felicidades.

El hotel está bien ubicado, junto al ríu palace, la gente más joven se hospeda en rui Santa Fe y se suele ver gente mayor en palace, la principal clientela es de eu o Canadá y tienen buenos espectáculos y una agradable comida, los empleados son amables y las habitaciones limpias, los colchones no son los mejores y la tina de baño es justa para una persona, cuando en casi todos los resorts todo incluido son para dos personas

Me and my husband and my best friend and her husband had a awesome time on the resort. The food was delicious and the place was spotless. They had staff cleaning when we awoke in the morning and we went to bed at night. We were there doing the big fight in August and they showed the fight on the big screen in the entertaining area, in the sport bar and for free in your room. We will be taking a large group back in June 2018. Friendly staff and at each dinning area we found someone that spoke a little English. They need to give you more information about dinning (times, and locations) when you arrive at the front desk.

PLEASE DO NOT USE THEIR ABMS. FRAUD ALERT!!!! When I was there in April of 2017, I attempted to take out money from their ABM on the resort and the machine said "Please Try Again" in Mexican without printing a transaction record, which I did but still was unsuccessful in taking money out. When I went to look at my online banking statement, I had about 4000 cash taken from my account. I went to the front desk where they told me to deal with my bank. Thankfully after 3 months, I was able to get the funds back because I am an actual employee of this bank. Hoping to help someone from experiencing this in their lives. Please be careful. Cabo San Lucas is a gorgeous place and this resort is a lot of fun so I hope that they can realize that when a customer comes to them asking for their assistance, to please be courteous enough to help them in any way they can in the coming future. We just returned from Mexico and a 7 night stay at the Riu Santa Fe. I have got to say it was by far the cleanest and prettiest resort we have ever been to. It was a short jaunt from the airport and close to down town. Check in did not take long even though there was a line.The staff was amazing.! Hard workers, always a smile on their faces, and very helpful. The entertainment group of kids were so much fun and had so many different things planned everyday if you wanted to participate. The pools were beautiful and well maintained. The beach had beautiful sand and was always well cleaned up. The food was delicious everyday and the choices were unlimited for what ever you wanted. Our rooms were immaculately cleaned everyday and all the areas swept and mopped constantly. The bar fridge in the rooms was restocked every 2 days but if you needed more water or anything they got it for you. How the bartenders at the pools ever kept up the busy pace, I have no idea, but they did with a smile on their faces! I highly, highly recommend this resort and will make it our place if we go back that way again!!

After reading all the reviews of the Riu Santa Fe, My wife and I did not know what to expect. We were worried from all of the negative reviews. However, Everything turned out to be great. The grounds are beautiful, the food is very fresh and varied (Although most of it is rather bland, no salt, no spices. The sauces are your friend). The water is filtered to all the ice machines and restaurants. My wife and I drank it every day, without issue. The staff is very friendly and helpful, especially if you treat them with respect and understanding. If you become a jerk, they will typically respond by ignoring you. When traveling to an all-inclusive resort you must have some tolerance and patience. The resort does not have control over the way other guests act. That said, the Riu Santa Fe far exceeded my expectations. P.S. After hearing about many folks having things stolen from their room, I became concerned about our stuff. But, if you turn your key to the right 3 times, it locks the deadbolt so that even the staff keys cannot get in.

I have never known gluttony til now. The food is scrumptious and the alcohol ever flowing and still they take care of us. Ask for Grace at Amstar. She got my family all our events and transportation taken care of. No fuss no muss no worries. Come here and be happy.

After reading mixed reviews, I was sceptical about the Santa Fe. Upon arrival and throughout the stay, I was pleasantly surprised. We stayed in building 7 with an ocean view room. I highly recommend this! Good food, good drinks, great staff. I would certainly come back.

The service was great throughout our stay. The room was clean and the grounds were very well maintained. We had an ocean-view room which was quite nice. It was a bit noisy at times though due to the closeness to the beach. My only major complaint was the food. It was hit or miss. If you are a sausage, eggs, and bacon kind of person, it is best to ensure you these items when they are fresh off the griddle otherwise they get cold quickly.

First time in Mexico, excellent resort. Travelled with 4 kids (2 families) ages 2, 4 and 7. Customer service is top notch, check in and out at the speed of light. Kids were provided with cribs/cots, milk everywhere. Food super yummy, great pools, very picturesque and clean grounds. Highly recommended for families alike.

Beautiful but disappointing. Our room was suppose to have ocean view but you had to walk out onto the balcony and attempt to look around the building. Room was supposed to be handicap but the door to get in with a wheelchair was near impossible.

Great place during most of the year carful around spring break because there are lots of collage students partying. Great food and friendly staff. Generally clean and not usually noisy unless you come during spring break. Carful of collage students partying because when I last stayed a few tried to fight me and someone threw up off a balcony a few stories above. Other than that my stay here was great.

Overall very happy with the resort. Very clean but there are a lot of bugs (outside not in the rooms). Kind of loud during the day but quiets down at night. Beautiful scenery and everything around the resort appears to be maintained very well. I would recommend this resort to others.

Great place to come to party, much more lively than the Riu Palace. Both properties have watered down drinks, Riu Palace is the better choice but it depends on your preference. If you book with the Riu Palace, you can still go down to the Riu Santa Fe but not vice versa

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!! It may be cheap, but spend your money somewhere else, because we got A LOT of money immediately stolen! I was in a group of girls and we had over $210 USD stolen within the first three hours of arriving right out of our room. When we went down to report to the manager and we encountered 3 other groups of people who the same thing happen! One room of girls had almost $2000 USD stolen from THE SAFE IN THEIR ROOM!!!!!!!!!!! Stay at your own risk. Hotel management does not care. They will take your money and not get caught.

We were switch to the Santa Fe from the Palace from unpredictable circumstances. The Santa Fe was a big downgrade. The lack of Wi-Fi, the smell of vomit, and that the rooms were scattered around and no elevator to get up the different levels with out help. We were also disappointed in the rooms. The toilet hummed all night no matter what we did to fix it. No shampoo and conditioner for the shower. If I had my children there I would have been very upset.
