Que lastima que un nombre de tanto prestigio como este, de una respuesta tan pobre ante una emergencia como la que acabamos de experimentar con la tormenta tropical LIDIA. Es una falta de respeto con sus huespedes que ante cancelacion de vuelos y demas, tengamos que asumir tarifas tan costosas por el servicio que pueden ofrecer en estos momentos, que para describirlo de alguna manera con la emergencia se redujo a memos de la mitad para no decir que demasiado restringido. DONDE ESTA EL CRITERIO? DONDE ESTA EL PERSONAL QUE RESUELVE EN ESTOS CASOS? ....servicio mediocre y costos elevados... recapaciten por favor!!!!#

What a beautiful resort! The staff and service was absolutely amazing, so accommodating. The only reason I held a star was some areas seem to be in need of some TLC (missing pool tiles, sooner platter needs repairs, etc). But everything and everyone was so wonderful!

Everything went pretty well as expected, except for one thing: The hotel had to do some electrical maintenance, and failed to notify us of the outage. We have kids, and they need to nap in the afternoons, so this was unacceptable. The staff did eventually move us to new accommodations after we complained to the front desk.

Came here over the Christmas holiday and was expecting very high quality since it is associated with Hyatt hotels and was not disappointed with the accommodations or the quality of food. The staff was amazing and did everything possible to accommodate our needs. I cant wait to come back to this property with my kids again or whenever they start to have their children. We felt totally safe and when someone tried to come into the property from the beach entrance the security stopped them and escorted them off the property. Keep up the great work and thanks to the staff!!!!

Location is great if you want quite place yo stay. Not many people are here so you can some what reax. Room was well prepared for 2 person. So, if you have more than 2 person ask for extra things like blanket, pillow, robe and things. Service is also great.. but make sure they know what you want. We rented cabana, but they did not prepared or us. In fact they did not know we rented. So, they put new cabana order to fit us in. Foods are great, most (not all) employees were friendly.

This resort absolutely exceeded my expectations . From the moment we stepped foot onto the property the staff when above and beyond to accommodate us. The dining experience within all 7 restaurants was amazing. The meals was fresh, delicious, and gave you a reason to try somethings that would not be on your everyday menu at home. The pictures that are posted on the internet do not give true justice to what the hotel has to offer you view wise when you walk through and enjoy the landscape. On a side note, please be careful when you book any excursions off the resort. There were extra changes that were hidden for us and we had to abide by them due to the time restraints and a no money back policy.

Some information FOR PARENTS: first of all, the resort is amazing and the food is outstanding. I can highly recommend it. Some caveats (and I hope Hyatt management reads this): the kids club is understaffed and closes from 1-2 PM, I have seen better performance in other resorts. Sometimes no one shows up until 9:30 AM. The babysitter can only be paid in cash ($20/h for 1-2 kids), a major hassle. There is an ATM halfway up to the Mega Mart that is cheaper than the resort ATM and it disposes USD notes (BoA: I paid $408 for $400). Lastly, this resort has a major issue with guests reserving lounge chairs. Basically they are all gone by 9 AM with a pair of shoes reserving 2 chaises which is not only ridiculous but also prohibited by pool rules but staff does not care. Other than that I wish there would be Tiramisu for dessert. I recommend buying 1 or 2 pool noodles at the Mega Mart for $4, a 10 minute walk.

Beautiful but flawed Spectacular location and a dazzling beautiful hotel. Good to great restaurants. Cons: No disco or nightclub, no karaoke club, only nightlife options are theatre show or sports bar with no food service.
