El hotel está muy bonito. Les recomiendo la el restaurante de comida mexicana María Margarita. Las bebidas son muy ricas, las habitaciones están bien. Al llegar nos tardaron 20 minutos en entregar la habitación. Le hace falta un antro dentro del hotel.

Realmente un lugar muy lindo, excelente ambiente. Las habitaciones muy confortables, sólo sugeriría que pongan un poco de atención al restaurante de especialidad mexicana porque en lugar de ser un orgullo es una tristeza, arroz duró, comida recalentada, tamales duros etc. Y un pequeño detalle yo se que los extranjeros son importantes para el turismo del hotel, pero en muchas ocasiones los meseros tienen mucha predilección por eso y la atención realmente no es la misma ni la actitud. Felicitaciones a las recamaras por un excelente trabajo habitación muy limpia y detalles únicos.

¡Increíble, la atención es inigualable y la comida/bebida exquisita! Es un estupendo hotel para hospedarse y no preocuparse por nada. Tiene muchos restaurantes incluyendo 3 temáticos, varios bares, la alberca grande y con buena temperatura, así como una amplia variedad de espectáculos y actividades. ¡Muy recomendable! Incluye acceso a Riu Cancún (a solo 10 min en coche)

Excelente la cadena RIU, este hotel le falta un poco en comparación con el RIU Cancún, pero las áreas comunes están excelentes, la atención del personal super amable, la gran cantidad de alimento y la variedad, además el show nocturno excelente y el lugar muy amplio y cómodo. A las habitaciones si les falta.

Le daría 5 estrellas si no fuera porque no me dejaron dormir en toda una noche por hacer remodelación en horas nocturnas. Buena comida, buena playa para relajarse las habitaciones normales, buen servicio. Queda a 5 mins en bus de la zona con malls y coco bongo y a 10 mins caminando del embarcadero para ir a isla mujeres u otro destino.

Las instalaciones están bien conservadas aunque presente unos detalles con el clima y el teléfono de la habitación el servicio de mantto al cuarto fue muy pronto y lo solucionaron genial, el trato fue muy amable. Los restaurantes estupendos con mucha variedad y riquísimo sazón. La playa es de lo más lindo de este hotel y sus albercas súper limpias. Mi viaje fue familiar en diciembre de 2016 esposa y 2 pequeñas de 8 y 3 años y nuestra experiencia en el hotel es más que placentera.

No hemos empezando a viajar y he tenido muchos problemas con la operadora en Estados Unidos, no se ponen de acuerdo en la información que dan, hacen imposible las cosas y se la pasaron refutandome todo lo que les preguntaba, donde esta la buena atención al cliente??? Toca que hagan un curso para aprender a tratar mejor a los turistas, nunca me había sentido tan agredida en un hotel RIU en mi vida.....solo falta esperar como nos va en el hotel, pero so far not good

Que puedo decir el Hotel es bueno, pero en cuestión a servicio es lo peor por parte de los gerentes, y los del área de lobby, se supone que ellos son los menos indicados para hablarte mal, recibes cosas mejores de las personas que se encargan de hacer la limpieza, la comida para reservar es muy simple hacen falta platillos y la verdadera tematca de sus nombres, el recibimiento fue bonito al menos hasta que se asignaron las habitaciones era fatal la que se nos asigno pero fui a pedir el cambio se nos dio una mejor eso si con goteras pfff 232 esa habitación requiere de mantenimiento es muy bonita y amplia, la playa hace falta mantenimiento a ciertas áreas incluyendo limpieza, atención por parte de los del área del bar en la piscina, !la pulsera roja si es distintiva! tuve un accidente dentro del hotel se me desguinzo mi pie me dijeron que no podían hacer nada el gerente nocturno de lo mas déspota le pedí ayuda y dijo que tenia que hacerle como pudiera que el hotel no cubre esos gastos ¿pero porque? osea que si me matan dentro del hotel el hotel se deslinda? fue una bobada no quise discutir y fui a atenderme personalmente.

Just returned from a 2 week stay here. Excellent holiday cannot fault this hotel at all. Staff are all amazing and very hard working, nothing is too much trouble. Good location for shops and nightlife if wanted. Bus services cheap and frequent. Beach is just down from the pool area and is definitely one of the best. Hotel staff are constantly around to serve you drinks. Could not complain about anything. Fantastic service and fantastic holiday.

This is a great resort for the money. The staff work hard to keep the place clean, the guests well fed and entertained. All the rooms have an ocean view but beware the balconies are tiny. Only two people can fit unless you upgrade the room. The food is not gourmet but with such a wide variety you can always find something to eat.

We just spent a week here. We have been to Cancun several times over the years. We have went different times of the year and July is always one of the hottest months. Now as fare as I know there are 4 different RIU in Cancun and We have stayed at RIU Cancun and RIU Palace before and they both were great. Now RIU Caribe was nice for the price. The 2 things that we didnt like about it was ( 1 ) THERE IS NO AC except in the rooms and the ac in the rooms was not very cold. So the lobby, restrooms, bars, and restaurants were VERY uncomfortable to be in. Now in the main restaurant they claim to have the AC on but you feel no difference in there than you do when outside so when your dinning for breakfast or dinner you are setting there continuously sweating. ( 2 ) On Friday nights they have a beach party that they hold on the beach by one of the fare ends of the hotel. Our rooms were on the second floor rooms 298 and 299 and during that beach party that went on until 11:00 PM the music was so load that it drowned out our conversations inside our rooms. But the food was ok and the staff and pool were great.

When you first get here it seems nice but after a couple of days the staff and rules is ridiculously stupid. First the pool closes at 7 pm. The pool bar closes at 6pm so then you have to go inside to get a drink and then you have to be dressed and not wet. Second, the restaurants say they close at 10 pm but when you get there at 9 they say they are closed. The place was okay at first but not great for young couples.

Decent hotel with great food. Location was a bit disappointing as some way from the main strip and night life (went for a boys holiday). However, you can use the sister hotel which is right in the center - you can use your all inclusive band to eat and drink there! On the plus side, being a bit outside the main strip meant the hotel was more peaceful!

On Saturday, she said an employee of the resort allowed her into a staff-only area near the pool so that she could change the music. The young woman claimed that once they were alone, the employee attacked her. Megan said she managed to escape the man and immediately went to the hotel’s lobby with her boyfriend to report the incident. She said a few minutes later, the police arrived and arrested her and her boyfriend instead of the employee. NOT A PLACE I WOULD WANT TO GO!

This place was very filthy and unsanitary. The food was not good. The drink selection was lame. The only decent thing about the hotel was a friendly staff. I made the mistake of booking this place for my honeymoon... big mistake!! They were cool enough to let us transfer the higher end Riu next door. I suggest paying a little more to stay next door at the Riu Palace - that place is great!

Woke up with bites each night and paid $15 per day for internet that never worked in my room. But its a great hotel go Scuba diving!

Just arrived home from a 5 days stay at this resort. This was my 4th time to Cancun and first at this resort. The service was terrible. The place was dirty. The beach was full of rocks. The pool closes at 7:00 P.M. Who has a swim up bar and closes it at 7:00? One of the bartenders made my husband say "please" before making him a drink. I had one huff and puff when I asked to try something different. The food was disgusting. The elevators are old and need a lot of work, not to mention, they need new elevators. The entertainment was pretty lame. The on site disco was too small and not enough servers. The food in the 24 hr sports bar was old and stale. No one seats you to eat and you have to serve yourself. I felt like I paid a lot of money to stay a motel 6 and eat at golden coral. Never would I recommend this resort to anyone. So very disappointed!
