We had a marvelous experience at the Hotel Guaycura. We were welcomed by both staff and management and were provided gracious service and even some custom orders from the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and airy and the bathrooms huge, with good shower pressure and beautiful tiling. The hotel arranged acitvities for us also, from releasing baby turtles to a birdwatching tour. It is centrally located with a shuttle service to the Beach Club also run by the same management.

Being a big fan of Todos Santos, which I have visited over a period of four or five years, I was agreeably surprised by the new Hotel Guaycura in the center of town, where I stayed with my wife for a couple of nights last November. The overall impression is one of good taste and sophistication, but what we found really unique was their skydeck, where a pool and bar are located, as well as the spa. Once there (and you may use an elevator to get to it), you’ll see the most amazing view of the oasis, with the sea in the distance. Don’t miss being there at sunset time. The hotel manager, Angel Salinas, is an expert sommelier, so it’s worth asking him for recommendations on wine selection. Also, If you decide to take a massage at the spa, don’t forget to ask the staff to to prepare the steam bath for you so that you may enjoy it after the treatment. All in all, we had a most enjoyable experience and look forward to returning.
