John ValenciaI rented a motorcycle from Honda San Miguel and had a great experience. I rented a Honda CRF 230cc off-road bike for 3 hours. The bike was in excellent condition, pulled strong through all gears and the breaks were fresh. If you pay cash, it is 907 pesos for 3 hours (about $50 USD at the time). It was a dirt bike, but was fine for freeway cruising, as well. And the police here do not care if you take a dirt bike on the regular roads. Honda actually uses a separate company for their rentals, Discovery Guanajuato, which is located in the Central area, Calle Jesus No. 4. Call ahead to make arrangements, because all they do is pick you up from the Honda dealership and take you over to Jesus No. 4 to complete the paperwork and get the motorcycle. Plenty of fun riding around San Miguel, too. I had a blast, and highly recommend if you are an experienced rider (but NOT a place to learn how to ride a motorcycle!).
