Bici-burro is the premiere bike shop in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato. We love what we do! We bike on our days off! Alberto (Beto) Martínez, the owner and operator, grew up in San Miguel and knows the area like the back of his handand and loves to show you San Miguel on a bike..
All bicycles tours include a 27 aluminum speed mountain bike (small, medium, large and extra large bikes) with front suspension, helmet, gloves, guide, mechanic, and when appropriate, transportation in the "BurroMobile". Dogs and falls are free!
Your intrepid guide, Alberto Martínez, will take you riding up and down the hills and arroyos, across rivers, through herds of bulls, cows, donkeys and goats, to greet the country folks and escape barking dogs.

Eric KleinFinding Alberto was a great thing; meeting him the day before our "tour" increased the excitement for our trip; and having him lead our small group of 2 was the best. Alberto coordinated so both of us, unknown to each other before the ride, could squeeze in a ride starting at the dam (La Presa), through the countryside, partially along an abandoned railroad path, to a remote village, and stopping at a small museum, connected by theme to Canada de Virgen archaeological site. Alberto is extremely knowledgeable, seemingly, about everything. He referenced science, anthropology, botany, social sciences, and of source, bicycle maintenance. If you enjoy bike riding or think you might, turn yourself over to his curated tours. He is a master.
