Hola! Su hotel es precioso, pero aunque es un all inclusive la comida es pésima. El servicio dista muchísimo de ser bueno. Un día quise cenar en el restaurante y la señorita, con una cara de muuuy pocos amigos, me dijo que si no tenía reservación no podía entrar. Reservación en un hotel all inclusive? Pedí entonces room service: un rack de cordero. El peor que he probado en mi vida. Muy pequeño, sin sabor, y con verduras mal cocidas... lo dejé todo.... Al día siguiente pedí una sopa de tortilla, y les juro que en un Vips o Sanborns las hacen mejor. Una noche pedí una cobija extra porque tenía mucho frío.... nunca me la trajeron... El servicio del BEACH CLUB es peor. Para que te entreguen la comida se tardan casi 1 hora. En todos los hoteles all inclusive que me he quedado, los meseros están al tanto de que los huéspedes siempre estén bien atendidos.... a mi se me hace lógico que ellos vayan a los camastros a tomarte la orden, y no que desde abajo tengas que subir por cada drink. En fin... muy lindo hotel, muy lindas amenidades... pero jamás regresaría ni lo recomendaría.

Every year when we return to the Casa Velas family, it gets better and better. Besides the wonderful rooms and facilities, and also the amazing food, the staff continue to do everything they can to makes your stay one you will not soon forget. Every year the improvements that they make keep the place fresh and new. This year had the best food by far of any of the previous 7 stays we have had here. All of these great things will keep us coming back for years to come.

The grounds, lobby, restaurant, beach club, and pool areas are very nice. The service is amazing. However, the disappointment comes when you enter your room. We did not want to spend any time in the room because it was so depressing.

My wife and I just returned from two weeks at Casa Velas, and enjoyed it immensely. Great service, great food, and very helpful and friendly staff. Our Grand Suite was very large and comfortable, with a king bed, large bathroom and shower, walk in closet, and nice living room area. The patio and plunge pool were great. Only issue with the room location (510A) was that the plunge pool was quite cool as we did not get much direct sunlight.

Casa Velas has many facets that make it inviting and interesting and that bring us back year after year. The grounds are beautiful and elegant. There is an abundance of wildlife (turtles, peacocks, iguanas, koi, and many birds) to keep you entertained. The staff are gracious and helpful. The patio bar encourages us to meet fellow travelers and socialize. It is a small, uncrowded hotel and we enjoy the quiet days by the pool and the sea.

nice people. customer service needs help though. A few times we were told reservations were made but they were not. A few times we were told a shuttle was "coming" but it did not. There was a issue with our online booking which was not brought up to us until check out and made a BIG deal of, when it was not our fault at all which left a bad taste in our mouth for this resort.

Best food we have ever experienced at an all inclusive hotel. A quiet location to unwind at the beach club, however, for nightlife you will need to travel to the sister hotel or downtown.The staff is very friendly and attentive. Excellent service. By the end we new all the staff by name and they knew us as well. We will definitely return.

A wonderfully kept all-inclusive experience. The grounds are amazing, peacocks a bit noisy but fun and the service is impeccable. 5 course meals prepared each evening, the pool is warm and quiet, golf within walking distance and the beach a short shuttle ride. We highly recommend the Outdoor adventure for some fun.

Casa Velas is a great place if you are looking for a quiet retreat. The atmosphere is tropical with beautiful flowers and peacocks. The food and drinks were exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to help with food allergies. They had special menus, and special requests were not a problem. Casa Velas is the perfect place to refresh and renew yourself!

The staff was wonderful especially Dahlia, Jorge, Cesar and Bennie and of course the outdoor bar wait staff....Wonderful we loved them. The resort itself could have been cleaner..the standing water should have been cleaned a ton of green algae and the smell. Our rooms were fine as far as the beds and all but the smell of mold and mustiness was terrible I think you need to do something with the air flow. I have a terrible allergy to mold and I was very sick after being in that atmosphere for a week. Again it is beautiful property but it does need some upgrading.

The Ocean Club had such a nice pool/beach area that we could hardly choose between it and the resort pool! We will be recommending Casa Velas to anyone interested in visiting Puerto Vallarta.

If you have groups like the big group of 48 persons arrived last Thursday, I think that that is not fair to either them, or returning clients and also, to have grouups like that does not fit with the picture Casa Velas is giving me.....

We appreciate the continued improvements and the outstanding service of many of the staff and the polite friendliness even from those with whom we have no personal contact. Beny, Jorge (bell/concierge), Bernadino, Daniel and Jorge (Beach Club) are all worth far more to Casa than they are being paid.The only negatives were the service from the breakfast staff (with Alfredo and the two cooks at the outside buffet as the exceptions), and the quality of coffee at breakfast, which was bitter even after the machine was serviced.

Great place for a honeymoon or a vacation to escape. No kids at this place. Very quiet and laid back. The restaurants on site were amazing. Be sure to bring a pair of pants, they are needed for the dress code. The Beach Club has just as good food and amazing views. Would love to come back some day.
