Excellent, courteous, professional service. I was wary of renting a car in Cancun, but I am an Enterpise member, so I would have confidence i the brand. I am glad I did; we got to see so much more of the region on our own schedule, and a week rental was only $128 USD. The shuttle driver was already waiting for us outside the airport based on our flight number. Highly recommended.

We rented a VW Jetta from Enterprise at their Cancun Airport location. The car was in good condition and more importantly the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We were picked up promptly from the airport and driven in a clean van to the rental car location. It took maybe 10 minutes to complete all the paperwork and be on our way to Tulum. On the return, the staff was very efficient and the checkout process took approximately 10 minutes before we were on our way to the airport. After reading all of the negative reviews for the various rental car companies in the area, we were extremely happy with our experience with Enterprise and would highly recommend them for anyone looking to rent a car in Cancun.

I had read multiple mixed reviews of tourists that have had very bad experiences with their rental car experience. I took the Gamble and stuck to my initial plan to rent thru Enterprise and I am very happy I did it. Gonzalo greeted us from the moment we arrived, he was very friendly, well mannered and professional. The only insurance I was asked to pay $16 a day which was perfect, total the average price per day was $30 per day, which is a bargain when you factor the price of cabs in the area.

I was super satisfied with the service at this location. The people working here were friendly and it felt very easy to get a car. I recommend getting a car in the Yucatan area as there is so much to see! Skip the taxis, which are hard to trust, and take control of the wheel. Prices are reasonable for yhe type of car I got.

This review is well past due. We rented a VW Vetta (full size class) about a year ago and everything went great. We were picked up at the airport and shuttled in their A/C van to their lot about a mile away. At the counter all the paper work was ready and was asked what color Vetta we would like. Really?? Our daughter said red and boom they brought a NEW red one with 1200 miles, nice. I am putting caps on for the next part. IF YOU ARE NOT LIVING/RESIDENT IN MEXICO YOU WILL HAVE TO PURCHASE TPL (Third Party Liability) INSURANCE. THERE IS NO WAY AROUND IT. CREDIT CARD COMPANIES OR YOUR MAJOR US INSURANCE COMPANIES WILL NOT INSURE YOU IN MEXICO. SOOO IF YOU SEE A CAR RENTAL FOR $50.00 FOR A WEEK THAT WILL NOT BE YOUR FINAL AMOUNT. TPL RUNS ABOUT $15.00 TO $20.00/DAY. THIS IS THE ONLY INSURANCE THAT “IS REQUIRED”. Caps off now. The majority of the poor reviews are insurance related. It does not matter if it’s Enterprise, Hertz, Budget, Thrifty, etc. Sooooo if the price is too good to be true it is priced w/o TPL. Just add it to your reservation when you book it and save yourself a headache. Also, deposits run about $200.00 to $700.00 if you are “priority club members” of the particular rental agency. We are heading back to Cancun, again in a few months and hope Enterprise will come down a little on price or we will probably go with Budget which we have also rented from before in Cancun. $50.00 is $50.00. The staff at Enterprise here were very helpful. The pick up at the airport and the trip to the off-site office was very quick. Turning the car in and settling the bill was also very quick. They required a large deposit ($700 USD) which we were not expecting. The staff also said that they were going to report the police that pulled us over and tried to take an excessive amount of money from us for speeding (even though there were cars passing me!) 1/4 mile from the turn-in.

Wir waren sehr sketpisch was Auto mieten in Mexiko anbelangt aber mit Enterprise kann man nichts falsch machen. Wir haben für ca. 900 USD über das Internet den kleinsten Wagen mit allen Versicherungen gebucht. Also reserviert, eine Vorauszahlung war nicht erforderlich. Als wir ankamen meinte Yair (ein sehr freundlicher Angestellter), dass das viel zu teuer sei. Schlussendlich hat er uns das Auto für die Hälfte gegeben und dann noch ein viel besseres Auto als einen Nissan March. GPS zu mieten ist überflüssig, denn sie funktioneren so oder so nicht richtig. Mit dem Auto hatten wir keinerlei Probleme. Strassen sind einfach zu fahren und Annahme und Abgabe waren reibungslos und schnell. Jederzeit wieder Enterprise!

So I talked to the agents in California and they said that you do not need to leave a deposit as long as you get the TPL which is the "Third Party Insurance" Can I get a response from an agent? I am booking my car through Enterprise online website and paying the TPL so can I just pick up the car or are you going to ask me for a deposit?
