Great company. I booked 3 days of diving (Cancun & Cozumel). Alex was awesome! Responded within an hour every time I emailed, and arranged everything perfectly answering every question clearly. Very satisfied and will use them again next time I am in Cancun. Both our dive masters (Steph & Ellie) were great. Extra shout out to Ellie who was amazing all around as a dive master and person. Excellent people and excellent company.

My wife was new and I had not been diving in years. Manta Divers took great care of us. The equipment was great and well cared for, they had everything we needed. Our two dives went very smooth, our dive master Leo was patient and very helpful. They had a great plan to get us in and out of the water quickly because it was a little choppy, well executed too. Alex and Mimi were very helpful with our reservations. We will definately be back and would recommend them to friends.

My family did our PADI Open Water Certifications with Manta Divers. They were excellent, our instructor, Leo was knowledgeable and extremely helpful with everyone. . The best part was there were only a few of us assigned to a dive master, other groups with other shops had up to 10 students with them! The equipment was brand new and well cared for and everything was exceptionally clean. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly, and I would go back tomorrow.

I called the shop when i arrived in Cancun as they requested and then also visited the shop a day prior to my dive to stop in and confirm my dive also. The day of the dive i walked over to the shop and was told the boat was having issues and we could not go diving. The staff was nice and offered me a full refund when i asked, but i was very disappointed and surprised that the shop did not have a back up plan or an alternate boat that could be taken instead of cancelling the dive trip last minute. It was my last day in Cancun and was unable to reschedule any dives to the MUSA.

This is our favorite dive shop in Cancún. Great prices and great staff. My only complaint is the captain of the boat would leave the steering wheel to do other things instead of driving while we were at full speed.

Excellent professional staff. Knowledgable and took us away from the most touristy spots. I will always use them when I return to Cancun, because I appreciated the high level of their commitment and experience.

I dove with Manta Divers back in April 19th 2000. I dove with a master diver named Daniel. I had a great experience with this group and recommend them to all my friends. To all you divers who had bad experiences my advice would be first of all NAUI and PADI are the most recognized certifications around the world. SSI has been new to the game. So to others who are thinking of diving pick a certification that will be honored at the dive shop you plan on doing your open water certification with. Second if you are serious about Scuba Diving buy your own equipment. Go to your local Dive shop and at least buy your own regulator! This is your life line to being able to breath underwater. Why would you risk using some old regulator? That would be like jumping out of a plane with a World War II packed parachute you bought at a surplus store. It may work and it may not? And make sure you have it checked out and serviced every year by the shop you bought it from. Dive belts only cost about $6.95 for a 60" nylon belt with a plastic buckle buy one and fit it to you. Make sure the buckle works well. Last think you want is your weight belt dropping off you at 70 feet. You will not be able to control your accent very well. Buy your own fins, snorkel and Mask. Most dives shops will cut you a deal if you buy a package. There are plenty of dive shops online that have deals on equipment. Remember one thing " Your LIFE depends on having good Equipment " so buy your own and take care of it. I personally would never rent a regulator, mask, snorkel or fins. You do not know who the last person who used them and if they are sanitized? Now go out there and get some equipment. And quit blamming other people for your mistakes. Be a responsible diver and always be safe. I would also buy a BC when you can afford one. Maybe put $10.00 a week away until you save the money. It will be worth it. Also you do not need a computer to dive. Standard gauges are less expensive and most of your open water dives will be less than 80 feet. Think about it? Go to your dive tables and figure out what your bottom time can be? What will your decompression stop be? Unless you are getting your advanced diver certification I would use standard guages. I have been using them for years and they work fine. HAPPY DIVING EVERYONE Jimmy Mac

Booked a three day 2Tank per day while onsite at Cancun. Did some initial research with other dive outfits before making our way down there and was not impressed with those outfits. Did some other searching an stumbled across Manta Divers when looking into the Cenotes. Staff was polite, dive leaders were great (Rafael, Alex, and Gabby). Thanks for making the enjoyable, pointing out the spots to see, and for making those around and myself feel safe. I would dive with them again.

Me and my 10 year old went diving with Manta for two days. The crew was very helpful. I spoke with Mimi on the phone several times before arriving in Mexico. She was extremely helpful. We went diving with Genny. She was very professional and very helpful. The staff went out of their way to make us happy. I would recommend Manta if you are going to visit Cancun.
