Me quedé con mi hijo de cuatro años y tampoco pareció importarles que estos animales estuvieron en sus cosas por lo que tuve que deshacerme de todo. Pésima atención a situaciones de esta índole. El lugar tiene unas instalaciones maravillosas, sin embargo se paga por la experiencia y la habitación que alquile estaba llena de cucarachas, es decir, que no hay inspección sanitaria. Otro punto importante la comida, efectivamente hay restaurantes de comida internacional pero la comida no es muy buena, esta fría o les falta condimento, la comida mexicana es muy mala y solamente abren los restaurantes a partir de las 6 pm. Los que tienen diez son los meseros excelente atención por parte de ellos.

La hubicación inmejorable, estabamos a un paso de todos los comercios y los mas alejados por pocos pesos los omnibus te llevan a todos lados y pasan a cada rato. Nos hicieron sentir como en casa o mejor dicho muchiisimo mejor que en casa. Vovería sin ninguna duda. Mala experiencia, cucarachas en la habitación, cucarachas en el baño. Y en pláticas con otros huéspedes también había cucarachas en sus habitaciones. De manera irresponsable Asan el pescado en la misma plancha donde asan los mariscos, ignorando lo peligroso que resulta esto para alguien que sea alérgico a los mariscos. No tienen conocimiento claro de los ingredientes que contienen los platillos que están sirviendo. La calidad de las bebidas es pésima, todo es de maquina, no hay ningún jugo natural. Los vinos y licores que ofrecen son los más baratos del Mercado. En la recepción indiferencia total a mis necesidades o quejas y al pedir ayuda del gerente muchas disculpas, pero ninguna solución. En fin, no es el primer Riu que visito y hasta antes de conocer Riu Cancún era su fan número uno y se los recomendaba a todo el mundo, después de conocer Riu Cancún lo pensaré para recomendarlos otra vez.

Buen hotel. No tienen las habitaciones listas a la hora de llegada. :( malo en este punto. Para las cenas con reserva hay que hacerlo con dos dias de anticipación, si es un fin de semana no hay disponibilidad, sujeto a lo que queda... Y si consigues una, al llegar siempre parece que te hacen el favor de atenderte. Ese servicio es muy malo. Los meseros algunos son indiferentes, hay que reconocer que algunos son sumamente profesionales y hacen que todo sea maravilloso. Tienen cosas muy buenas y otras muy malas. El entretenimiento es básico, faltan actividades que involucren más a uno para divertirse. Es poco staff para ello.

Hotel enorme con servicio all-inclusive. La playa es muy corta, no hay casi espacio en la arena, y el poco espacio que hay está lleno de reposeras. El hotel en sí es muy bueno, un poco antiguo pero cómodo y el servicio en general es muy bueno. El buffet es bastante variado y suelen hacer noches tematicas, ademas hay otros restaurants que funcionan con reserva.

Uma das melhores localização de Cancun, praticamente do lado do centro de entretenimento de Cancun, é possivel ir a todas as baladas a pé, como Coco Bongo. Também fica 10minutos de ônibus até o shopping. Possui vários restaurantes, podendo variar todos os dias de cardápio, então fome ninguem passa. Todo dia noite tem um mini-show, muito bom para ver com a família ou amigos. Quartos grandes e bem limpos. Funcionários atenciosos. Voltaria de certeza

We visited the property as we stayed at the Riu Palace. It has a modern flashy feel kind of like the Aria and/or Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. We watched a show and danced some. The service is good for the most part and it is a nice property. The beach access has some rocks here and there so you have to watch your step when using the beach.

Excellent hotel they absolutely look after you in this place. The rooms are slightly outdated with paint peeling and some of the switches on the walls hanging off. Also some of the Bedsheets we had, had stains on. There is a good choice of pools one which has a pool bar. The a la carte restaurants are really tasty my favourite being the Kulinarium. You will only get good branded wine if you ask for it. Also a point to note is that there is a special dish in every restaurant that you can have if you ask what it is. This was a very good secret we found. Lovely place good atmosphere in the evening too.

It has amazing views and the rooms are nice as well. Each room has alcohol included. There were different restaurants and bars for eating and drinking. Waren im Juni 2016 dort. Haben ein kostenfreies Upgrade auf eine Sweet erhalten mit einem traumhaften Blick aufs Meer. Essen war super. Vor allem die Al a Cart Restaurants. Strand war ok, konnten auch die Strände von den anderen Riu Hotels nutzen. Sehr junges Publikum im Hotel. Lage ist super.

Great overall experience. Every morning before breakfast we made a reservation at a restaurant for dinner (party of 6) and we always got a reservation for a restaurant we wanted. Pools great. Service great. We used an ATM in the airport for mexican currency and seem to have no issues using mexican currency for tips and paying but could also use cards. Could leave the resort and walk down to the road to some clubs and little shops. I was never hassled or felt threatened in or out of the resort. Can walk to RIU next door. View of the beach from the pool is beautiful. Beach had 1 or 2 spots with some big rocks but overall sandy, beautiful, and swimable. Would go back.

This is my third visit to Riu Cancun. Each time there is always more to do than the last. LoCal restaurants, shopping and entertainment just down the streets off the resort as well as a lot of excursions available. I was just recently at this hotel for 2 weeks and totally hated it. The hotel has a very poor air conditioning system. My clothes were always very humid and almost wet. I hardly slept due to the noise and discomfort once again due to the air conditioning. The service was very poor and not to mention how the staff barely understands English, yet they agree to everything lol I left the hotel, even though it was fully paid for, and went to a true 5 start hotel. I rate this hotel a 3 star and would never recommend it to anyone. Sorry, but I did not enjoy my stay.

Just returned from the Riu Cancun - what a GREAT place. The people were extremely friendly and enjoyable. We had a blast. Loved the international crowd there too - the guests and staff were simply spectacular. Food was decent. Drinks were great. I may have got drugged down there too...no, actually I just drank 12 too many pina coladas! Enjoy it. It comes highly recommended. My bed was a bit firm - but I prefer firm mattresses. The service here is awesome! The attendants at the front desk are very friendly, the hotel is beautiful, and they have a large variety of food. Very clean hotel and great food. I recommend this hotel for sure! The bed is not that comfortable unless you have enough tequila which they never run out of. I recommend if you do go to clubs go with the hotel staff NOT BAR LEAPING!! The hotel staff takes care of you much better!!!! Love from CANADAxoxox

I had been in the JW, Coral Beach, M, Gran Caribe Real, and there is no better Hotel for the price than the Riu Cancun, all inclusive, great view, beach, show, food, bar, shows and service

The RIU Caribe was a blast. The beach is better than most of the resort beaches. The pool is very clean and inviting. The staff are wonderful. Most of them speak excellent English and they really take care of you. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean and in each room you will find a liquor cabinet and bottled beer in your fridge. The food was tasty and hot, with plenty of variety. The specialty restaurants were OK, but not great. However, the waiters were great and the food was good. The nightly entertainment was very good and very entertaining. The lobby is beautiful and inviting. In the lobby are reps from the different tour companies (Orbitz, Apple, etc...). We booked two trips from the Orbitz rep. One was a jungle tour, which included riding your own boat out to a snorkel area, and the other was an all-day catamaran trip on the Sea Passion. The Sea Passion trip was $65 and was a very enjoyable trip out to the nearby island. There were not too many kids there, and the place was not rowdy. There are plenty of activities including beach and pool volleyball and other games. Ignore all the complaints. The RIU Caribe is a great place to go in Cancun.

Stayed at the Riu Cancun the week of March 4, 2012. Although we had read some positive and negative reviews, kept an open mind, however was quite disappointed in certain aspects of this resort. It definitly is not a 5 star report, maybe a 4 at best. The food was probably the most disappointing - the food at the buffett breakfast, lunch and dinner always looked like it has been sitting out for a while, just not appetizing and never any varience. We arrived on a Sat late afternoon, however the first meal we could book at the resturant was Tuesday (they book 2 days out). The rooms were dated, but not horrible, kept clean. However our A/C did not work and was quite muggy in the room. Twice we asked the front desk about this, they sent someone up, but was told this was the coldest it went (spoke with other hotel guests who mentioned their rooms were extremly cold). View was quite nice. Service staff was excellent. The only thing we noticed by mid-week, they stopped the staff serving drinks by the pools during. Will probably not return this resort.
