Jeffrey HessMy fiancée and I planned a private Cozumel wedding (just the two of us) at the end of December 2015, and had our resort arrange nearly everything for us. However, we wanted to hire an outside photographer to shoot our preparation and seaside beach ceremony at sunset. There were others available for the day, but we decided on Agustin and Jill for many reasons: they were personable, reasonably priced, responded very quickly to messages, we were impressed with their reviews, and with the photos on their website, and there turned out to be an uncanny personal connection—their children happen to study at the college where I am a professor! Such a small world. On the day itself, we met them both independently in our separate rooms (their idea, so as to get “first look” photos on the beach), and the rest of the shoot was pure joy. They are such genuine people, and open, kind, and passionate photographers, with a wonderful combination of charisma and artistry, that we easily relaxed into a fun-filled experience. Of course the results are what really count in a session like this, and their work turned out to be well beyond our expectations and dreams. They were able to capture the warmth, the bliss, the beautiful colors, some silliness, the tenderness, the idyllic setting, and the love, in ways we only imagined. Words alone cannot express the depth of our gratitude and respect, Agustin and Jill. As they say in my business, bravissimo!
