Aun cuando solamente llegue al hotel a un asunto meramente profesional, se advierte que se ubica en el centro de la Playa del Carmen y eso es muy importante para estar muy cerca de todo. Muy recomendable.

Excelente ubicacion, con personal muy atento y una habitacion muy agrable. Te regalan un mapa con recomendaciones para todo los presupuestos que nos resulto muy util. Lo unico es que nuestra habitacion resulto algo oscura ya que tenia solo una ventana pequeña. Volveria sin pensarlo.

Mejor que en casa sería la expresión correcta. Me encontré con este Hotel en Playa del Carmen, si nombre lo dice todo bienvenidos a Hotel Cielo. Es una mini Hacienda mexicana, cálido , lleno de detalles, tranquilo, familiar, descanso formidable, su ubicación es inmejorable a metros de la playa, a 2 cuadras de la estación de autobuses a 4 del ferry para ir a Cozumel . Este pequeño paraíso además cuenta con un restaurante debajo, otra representación de México . Nos encanto este lugar. El personal es muy atento, amables,nos llenaron de recomendaciones , nos extendieron una lista de opciones grastronomicas no tan comerciales como la quinta avenida, caracterizados x la buena comida, precio y servicio. Definitivamente regresaremos... Gracias a todos en Hotel cielo y restaurante Carboncitos x hacer de nuestra estancia una experiencia de recuerdo.

El hotel muy comodo, el personal muy amable, te brindan un listado de restaurantes que puedes visitar, cuenta con una terraza de descanso en la parte superior, tiene un acabo rústico para descanso increible , el desayuno va con el 50 % de descuento en el restaurante los carboncitos que esta a lado.

I found Hotel Cielo right away in my search for a special location in Playa del Carmen to spend our 4-year anniversary. After reading about it on the website, along with all the 4-5 star reviews, I thought it was too good to be true-- But I could not find one hotel that compared. Hotel Cielo is in an ideal location, just blocks from the beach. They have a restaurant and bar onsite that has been recognized in several publications. The registration system was very secure, user-friendly, up-to-date, and very quick. They responded promptly to every inquiry, and offered superb customer service. Hotel Cielo is a real treasure. You will not regret staying here!

This hotel has been there over 10 years and has been the owners Steves proudest project. The rooms are very clean and have nice authentic Latin America vibe. Check out the rooftop with breath taking view, it was designed and built by the owner himself. Perfect for special celebrations like weddings or birthdays. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I think we dined in their restaurant downstair 3 days out of 5 days of stay. Great food and reasonable priced, waitstaff are super entertaining, must try!

Great stay comfortable rooms with excellent beds and pillows and the AC works wonderful. Remodeled with the Mexican look makes you feel like you are in Mexico. Great friendly staff and cleaners do a an awsome job. One block from beach and close to shopping and lots of good restaurants. We ate down stairs for breakfast every day it was the best start to the day. Beautiful roof top with ocean view super way to start the evening. Would defiantly stay here again!

The pics online are very deceiving. Better to go the the hotel and ask to look at the room so you can make a decision there. There are more hotels around the area. The room was smelly and I guess it was the mildew I saw in the bathroom. The view from the window was the back of a resturant with water tanks and I could see directly into the room opposite ours since the window was diagonally across. The curtains/blind did not cover the entire widow so I ended up putting a blanket over it :/ It was very close to the famous 5th Avenue, the beach, a lot of different restaurants, bars and different stores for shopping. The pillows were a bit smelly. OK for the price ($70 for 2) and if ur not gonna stay outside, just good for resting, showering and shopping around so I did stay for 1 night after airing out the room :)

Hotel Cielo, always improving their quality service , the concept and environment of the place it self, brings the feeling of "callejones" from colonial architecture. The roof garden is one of my favorite views and the warm smile and friendship from the owners and staff, always makes us to come back every single year. If you are looking to relax in a small hotel to get and idea how local people live with the Caribbean flavors....hotel Cielo always a good choice to stay! Enjoy your trip and ask to Steven , for local community projects, social volunteer and other nice activities you could performance as you enjoy the beautiful sea.

I am absolutely disappointed with the room they offer us. My Husband book the hotel by looking at the website and reviews but when we saw the room it is not what we expected. The hotel needs major overhaul. It was missing bathtub, mirror and many other items that normal 2 star hotel would have. The curtain did not cover the full window and i always feared someone to see our room. The room service was horrible. The room locker was missing key and that is why we had to hide our passport under neath the bed. The service came in and cleaned our room and put the passport in somewhere else. My husband and me went furious and looked for it all over and then found out it was misplaced. Absolutely disappointed. STAY AWAY.
