Plank was our best meal while visiting Playa. It was a little more expensive with quality food, presentation, and atmosphere. We had the Tasting Menu for two which was a 5 course meal with small portions of great dishes. Everything was served on either a salt or a cedar plank. The filet mignon was tender, lobster cooked perfectly, smoked salmon shaped into a rose, bacon wrapped scallops, and dessert sampler with 4 amazing treats. We had a wonderful Anniversary dinner at Plank.

The food was great, and it was a nice change of scenery from getting offered drugs and 10 minute massages on 10th street. The restaurant itself looked great, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly. One warning though. If you are walking downtown and someone approaches you and says that they work at your hotel/resort and they were your waiter or whatever and look all clean cut. They are lying and trying to take advantage of you.
