Me hospede aqui del 18 al 22 de Noviembre, y debo decir que es excelente en todos los sentidos. Con mi novio elegimos este hotel para nuestra luna de miel. Lamentablemente tuvimos muchos problemas para realizar el pago, a pesar de los múltiples correos enviados no obtuvimos respuesta y fue muy estresante. Siguen sin responder los muchos correos que enviamos. Aunque logramos reservar, sentimos que empezamos con el pie izquierdo nuestra luna de miel.

The service is top notch, the rooms are amazing, and the food is nothing but great. This place costs more than the average resort in Mexico but it clear why. The resort offers a ton of amenities and has a lot of entertainment and dining options. Go for the bed on the beach, well worth the extra money. The beach has fine white sand and never gets hot. Some seaweed but they clean it the best they can but definitely not a deterrent from going. This place you would want to stay rather than going on excursions. If you are all about excursions you can find cheaper places but go here if you want to splurge a little.

My husband and I have been twice and cannot wait to go back. The rooms are impeccable, the staff is amazing and the shows are fantastic! We first went on our honeymoon and decided to go back 2 years later and the second time was just as good! A big plus are the restaurants, you have so many to choose from and they are all great!

Overall this place was really nice. The beaches were beautiful except for all the seaweed. They just said that was normal for this time of year. We had pictures made from the onsite photographer but then no one was back in the office for us to pick out our pictures before we left. I have tried several times to send emails to get our pictures but no one will return a call or email. I am very disappointed since this was like a 2nd honeymoon for me & my husband. I also liked that they provide entertainment every night but some of the shows were really weak.

Good rooms and great staff. Food is varied from a number of restaurants (7) and whilst some is excellent, some is well short of the mark. The escargot at the French restaurant were a poor attempt being dry and resembling cardboard and our experience of the Italian was let down by the clam linguine which was all linguine and 3 empty shells. Its easy to pick holes in the offering of a resort of this size and I do not intend to be negative as the overall stay was very good. The regular entertainment was well done and service is excellent. The beach is cleaned every morning and the grounds are well looked after. The 5th star was missed for the food issues but they can really be minor. Visit and enjoy.

We just got back from a one week stay. All of our prescriptions went missing after the first full day we were there. The Chief Concierge accused of of not bring our meds since it was our word against theirs. (I took mine the first night and the next morning)the lack of care and communications between management and us was very poor. At the end of our stay they gave us a room upgrade on our next visit as long as we promised not to bring legal action against them or any of their subsidiary companies (that was in the fine print) also stating that we were entirely satisfied with our stay. The beach is incredibly beautiful, the wait staff service is great, the food is hit or miss as are the drinks.

We stayed here 4 days and then went to Secrets Akumal for 3 days. Akumal is nice, newer and is comparable, but Secrets Maroma service is by far much better. Our building concierge, Marino was outstanding. Along with Bramdon at the pool our stay was awesome. Plus the beach at Maroma was much nicer. The thing about Akumal, is that you can snorkel off the beach, but there are so many kids, it kind of ruined our time snorkeling. 2nd time we have been to Secrets Maroma. We will definitely be back.

Excellent booking experience through Costco for our trip. The rooms very very clean and the food was by far the best we have ever had in the Mayan Riviera. The entertainment staff was fantastic and the nightlife on the property was some of the best in Mexico. They did a great job keeping the beaches clean and free of seaweed!
