Secrets Capri Riviera Cancun was really nice, it is a bit of an older property, but well maintained. I really liked their beach, it was a good size and clean, the rooms were beautiful, the lobby was pretty with a large staircase and small pond with (cute) turtles that you could feed as well. I am going to mention this again, because I think its really important, but the staff here were the nicest people! They were very warm, inviting, I truly felt like I was welcome and wanted at this resort. Although the property is not brand new, I would return simply to have the excellent service that they provide!

Despite the fact its on of the oldest resorts of the secrets family resort. It is up to date and in great upkeep. The staff is great as well as the food. The club lounge was grrat! As well as all the staff in there. Just wished the AC worked better in the rooms and some restaurants and were more detailed of the entertainment. Other than that it has been a pleasure stay for us.

I am travelling as a single female and have not felt uncomfortable once at this hotel. The hotel is in a hacienda style and very laid back. Lots of live music and the food is exceptional so you will need to do some form of exercise. I joined in the Yoga class this morning and I am going on a free hotel organized trip to Playa del Carmen tomorrow and have a trip to Chichen Itza booked for next week. So far it is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. Staff are very good and make you feel welcome. People are very friendly and want to talk to you.

Just checked out of Secrets Capri Cancun on 8/22/17. It could have been a great vacation if the room above ours was not undergoing construction. My husband and I chalked up the noise the first day or so to a loud and excited couple. But it began to get worse. We complained to the concierge in our hall and was told that the guests in the room was checking out that day. Another day goes by and the noise persisted, so much that we had to call the front desk around 4a and they said they would look into it. The next day, the noise continued so my husband went upstairs ready to ask the guests to keep it down. He says that the door to the room was open and when he walked into the room there were open electrical wires and pipes laying all around the room and a construction crew. After that we went to the front desk to complain. They admitted that construction has been going on in that room the entire time and did not know why we were told that there were guests checking out. By this time, it was our last night and the front desk offered to move us to a new room. I felt like that should have been the first solution. Who would put guests in a room under a construction site for their honeymoon?! A good review... We had dinner on the beach and our server, Huego, was amazing! Pool and beach were nice. Restaurants could have been a little better with regard to quality food, especially lunch options. I was really disappointed with how our room situation was handled. I like AMResorts... I just stayed at Dreams Palm Beach in Punta Cana 6/2017 and had a marvelous vacation. But Secrets Capri Mexico really let me down.

The beach is soft, white sand with kilometres of walking available. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the grounds and amenities. There is much to do around the grounds, besides soaking up the sun, with an active social staff to lead you through yoga, volleyball, archery, and much more. Offsite activities are also available, if you prefer snorkeling, visiting the ruins, or seeing parts of the Mayan Riviera.

Me and my husband just got back from Secrets on Friday for our honeymoon. This place is spectacular!!! Expect to be treated like kings and queens when you arrive and throughout your entire trip. The restaurants are delicious, lots of seafood but really good! I wouldnt have picked any other place to go for my honeymoon! I will absolutely be returning!

They will listen and act. Great place to stay with old world charm and excellent food. Not spoiled by the trappings of plastic furniture and walls. Stayed here with my wife for 5 nights and we had a great time. The food, entertainment, pool and beach were all amazing. The staff were top notch. Pero worked his ass off all 5 days that we were there. The only complaint that we had was the do not disturb light. If the light was on instead of knocking on the door, they would call the phone which made it tough for naps however they were trying to bring champagne and chocolate strawberries to the room so it is hard to complain. Thanks for the great time.

I have traveled to a lot of places and this place is unbeatable. Unreal food, drinks, entertainment, relaxation, and the staff is UNREAL. They bend over backwards to make sure you are taken care of. Cleanest rooms, fun entertainment, staff remembers your names, and more. We had a leak (which we heard about in prior reviews)...before I could hang up the phone to report the leak, someone was at our door to fix it. THey cleaned our rooms twice a day and constantly check on you at the pool/beach for fresh drinks. We LOVE this place. We love Hugo, Ivan, Cesar, Olga, Yoshi, and Augostin! Coming back next year!!!

Secrets Capri in Playa del Carmen was a true nightmare!! Roberto Andrande ("front desk supervisor") was unprofessional and disrespectful upon my arrival to the hotel! It was my first time visiting Mexico and he thought he could make more money off of us because we were foreigners. He overcharged us even though I had payed for the total amount months prior and refused to give me back a refund. He would not allow us to go into our already payed hotel room until we payed an extra charge of $1,800. He knew we had no other option as we were foreigners in an unknown country with nowhere to go. DO NOT EVER go here!! It will ruin your whole vacation!!!

Stayed for a week for our honeymoon loved this place had a good beach excellent service premium drinks good food but the property is kinda far out not close to many bars restaurants or shopping have to take a $20 cab ride to get anywhere.
