Ahhhhhh....I am still on a Sol Y Luna high. What a wonderful place. The beach is spectacular ....true Caribbean and beautiful. The house is lovely....simple decor and nothing fancy BUT the staff (Melanie, the chefs, housekeepers and grounds person) made it AMAZING. I have never felt so relaxed not having to have done a thing! Meals were cooked, laundry was done, and house was cleaned. (Chef and laundry for an additional fee). There are no TVs in the bedrooms but that was FINE because we were not there to watch tv when we had the view we had. The chefs were truly amazing with making fruit animal designs and they even baked a homemade ice cream cake for us. Just wonderful. I would have preferred to have dealt with Melanie directly for an easier communication about the house but the concierge were very nice. Melanie was awesome. She was on it and made us feel at home. The only thing that was a bit of a bummer, if I HAD to pick something was that the internet did not work very well. That being said, it did not hinder us having a wonderful vacation. We really hope to be back soon.
