My and my boyfriend are from NY, we went to Cancun on vacation and were told by many people to visit XCaret. After looking at the website we decide on going to the Xplor Park Fuego (which is the one at night). Our tour told us that its a lot less crowded at night then during the day. We barely had to wait on any lines and on the last big zip line you go through a ring of fire which was pretty cool especially for pictures. Also, when you first get there the sun is still out so you get to experience the park at both times of the day.
It was $129 for each of us, which included transportation from our hotel to the park and back, a buffet, and all of the excursions in the park. The only thing it did not include were the pictures, which we wended up buying for $80. The pictures were definitely worth it, they take multiple pictures of you throughout the park we ended up with a total of 60 pics. There was so much to do between zip lining, rafting, ATVing, and swimming through the caves. It is really exhausting by the end I was so tired I fell asleep on the ride back. My suggestion if you are a vacationer is to bring towels, a change of clothes, your phone, and wear a bathing suit. They provide you with a locker which is also included.
They do not provide towels and many of the excursions involve water, they also have showers on site. The water is natural cave water and definitely left me feeling gross on the one and a half hour ride back to our hotel.
The only thing I did not like to much was the buffet. The ribs were awesome but every thing else I had was just blah. Also, bring your own bug spray! They definitely got us with that. It was $11 just for a tiny little bug spray bottle but they did have a point that you are in the Jungle and there are a lot of different bugs flying around. But overall I would recommend anyone to experience this place, its amazing and definitely worth the amount you pay.
