    Alquilas por Internet a buen precio.. cuando llegas te empiezan a obligar con seguros.. conclusión te sale el doble.. después te dan autos roñosos... como me equivoque alquilando acá... no cometan el mismo error. Fox y Mex car son lo mismo.

    La peor decision que hicimos!!! Debí leer Los reviews antes de reservar aqui. Nos tomo mas de 2 horas para que nos atendieran!!!! Reserve el carro online por expedia, llegando ahi no aceptaron la aseguranza que compre por expedia, solo tenias dos opciones, comprar otra aseguranza de $300 dolares o dejar un deposit de $2,500 dolares!! Pedi un carseat para mi bebe y lo querian cobrar EXTRA $40 dolares y estaba super sicio. Al regresar el carro querian cobrar $140 dolares porque "segun" la llanta tenia una bola lo cual es mentira porque yo tome video del carro antes de tomarlo y ahi se ven todos Los defectos del carro.

    Excelente servicio y muy en cuenta respecto a los demás. Contraté desde Argentina y no tuve que pagar nada adicional pues el seguro estaba incluido. En el coche todo funcionando y en buen estado, además automático, aunque la suspensión delantera dejaba algo que desear. Buen aire acondicionado. La entrega se demoró un poco porque estaban a full; la devolución fue rapidísima. Si regreso, volveré a alquilar allí sin dudas.

    Pésimo pésimo pésimo. Solo recibir el coche lo revise y faltaba una matrícula no me pareció extraño porque habían más coches en el parking así....en fin al entregarme el coche esta con el tanque lleno..firmo y mientras que conecto mi gps se baja un cuarto de tanque le hago el reclamo al sr Edwin y solo.me responde uds ya firmo que estaba lleno pues así me lo devuelves...vaya tramposos. Al día siguiente me pusiero una multa porque me faltaba la placa o matrícula del coche....la gracia me ha salido bien cara.pésimo servicio para una ciudad donde la atención al cliente es un 10.NO RECOMIENDO ESTE SITIO SON UNOS TRAMPOSOS

    El auto que me proporcionaron muy bien, fue un Gol, sin ninguna falla, el problema es que reserve por internet y llegue 2 horas despues de la hora que habia dicho ya que se retraso el vuelo, por este motivo me dijeron que ya se habia cancelado la reservacion y con engaños me vendieron otra, argumentando que tenia que pagar el seguro del vehículo, siendo que esta.incluido en el arquiler....muy mal esta acción

    La fila para alquilar el vehículo es muy larga cuando vas en temporada, así tengas reserva, y el proceso de registro es muy demorado. Disponen de pocas sillas para niño y la mayoría están en un estado deplorable. Adicional debes caminar desde la salida internacional hasta la oficina (en mi caso no pasó el transporte) bajo un sol inclemente si llegas de día.

    Unos ladrones,no me hicieron válido el seguro que pague con Expedia y tube que pagar de nuevo y GPS no necesiran,ellos dicen que no hay mucha señal para usar el GPS de nuestro cel. Y es mentira,hay excelente señal y es mejor usar el GPS de uno,menos complicado y no paga 20 dlls de renta de gps,X día

    Pésimo trato. Solo teníamos una persona delante y aún así demoraron muchísimo. El coche entregado fue lo peor, sin eleva lunas eléctricos, sin cierre centralizado...etc. No sabia que quedaban autos así en las empresas de alquiler. Tercermundista.

    Unos ladrones. Reserve x expedia el alquiler y el seguro, al llegar me dijeron que el seguro de expedia no era valido en Mexico y que debia contratar un seguro de USD 40 x dia!! Despues tuvimos que esperar mas de 1 hr x el auto que estaba estacionado en frente nuestro! El auto estaba sucio, olia mal, tenia mucho uso y no era el que alquilé. Nunca mas con estos mentirosos y estafadores.

    Worst experience ever! Like waiting in pergatory. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Understaffed, super long wait and not knowledgeable. Once our plane arrived and we were shuttled, we waited an hour and half before they even saw us. Once we had service, the salesperson was so slow and made several mistakes that made the process even slower. They only take credit cards but charge in pesos at a super inflated rate. Zero stars if I could.

    Terrible place. Horroble service. It is definitely a scam. Had to wait about 3 hours to get service. The manager was on his cell phone the hole time talking to his girlfriend. His name is Eric Alejandro Pech Arjona. To get his attention I took a photo of him on his cell phone and thats when I finally got some service.

    So I rented with this company through expedia, I got to cancun and they did not want to take my debit card which can be used as credit. They told me the only way I could use my debit card was if I got their insurance which was over $300 (I had allready purchased fullcover through expedia). They will pressure you to get their insurance even though it is allready insured. They will lie and say that you will have to leave a $2500 deposit and that you will probably not get it back. I went to Hertz and got a way better deal which was less even with insurance included and guess what (they took my debit card) + only left a $100 deposit. Bad customer service and reps that only care about tricking customers into getting their insurance.

    Stay away !!! rented the car and even went as far as paying for insurance online. After waiting for 30mins at the airport to be picked up by a shuttle, i waited in a que of angry/misled people. As soon as i was attended to by one of the employees they wanted me to pay an additional $181 over what i had paid online for my 4 day rental for the lowest class of car (economy). then I understood why all the tourists were frowning and yelling. STAY AWAY !!!!

    Do not rent from this place. Charged for tire replacement due to small cut in the tire, a cut I had photo evidence was on the car before I took it from the lot. I also pointed it out as well as numerous other issues at time of rental, no english communication was available with inspector. Upon return of the car they prey on the fact youre in a foreign country at an airport, knowing you will not return and that you have a flight to catch. Delaying and delaying until you have to accept the charges instead of risking your flight. Charged $90.00 USD for a tire that I doubt they even replace, just keep collecting bogus charges from tourists for a "replacement" Do not rent from this place.

    Very good experience from beginning to end. Girl at the counter in Airport Terminal guided us quickly outside to their shuttle that arrived just after minutes. Pick up of car went very smooth as well, I brought a cover letter from AMEX so no extra insurance was needed. No timeshare pressure. Newer compact Volkswagen GOL served us very well for our needs. Returning car was a breeze as well, done in minutes. Shuttle was called in to hurry because we were late for check-in. Very friendly employees. Would definitely rent a car with them again.

    Horrible horrible place. DO NOT RENT. The car battery died in 1 day. They kept us waiting for 1.5 hours. Local office does not pickup phone. Had to take taxi there, and they refused to reimburse mere $25 taxi fee also.

    Long wait, terrible cars, and even worse customer service when returning a beater of car 2 hours later. The "manager" was unaccommodating and rude. Our rate went from 200 pesos a day to 400 pesos for 2 hours. How does that make any sense. The justification was bogus and no attempt was made to accommodate our situation.

    they are not professional business, ill start from the beginning once you land at the air port every car rental company office is at the terminal. there is outside the terminal across the street. i bought car rental insurance through Expedia, when i went in they said they dont recognize that insurance to be valid and charged me $2500 usd on my credit card for not having insurance. also they scare you and strong arm you that you have to buy insurance through them for $300 usd other wise you are responsible for the whole price of the car!!. also when you are returning the car i saw with multiple customers having argument because they were looking to find reasons to charge customers extra beware and also i am an Expedia member i dont know why Expedia have them as a partner after words i saw so many reviews with people having same problem. every one stay away and no one picks up there number!! scam!!!

    Horrible customer service. They try to push liability insurance on you in the name of state law and make you wait an hour for an already reserved car. Not only that, when asked if they can provide any proof that this is state law, the rep could not provide any document . I ended up paying for it because I was tired of waiting and hour after a long flight and my family was getting restless. Avoid these guys at any cost. Their whole business is based on lies. Just not worth it.

    When your getting the rates they are really low, but you have to get insurance and which I recommend. The price on the insurance is a lot more than the price of the car rental but if you plan ahead you can get really good rates. I rented an economy car and I paid about $175 for 4 days taxes and insurance included. They even upgraded my car to a small size convertible. Was very satisfied with the service.

    After hearing so many horror stories about Fox, I was pleasantly surprised to have a good experience! Easy return and no real hard sale for the add-ons during pick up. It helps to do your research on the included and optional insurance types and what is covered by your credit card before you get to the counter so you are armed and cannot be taken advantage of:) The pick up DID however take along time (~1.5 hours).

    A year ago my experience with Fox Rent A Car Cancun Airport was so bad that i did not want to hear said name ones again... But it looks like miracles do happen !!! When I rented a car from them from 11.18.2015 till 12.06.2015 it was absolutely different and GREAT experience in all means:New fleet,New shuttles,Friendly service....My compliments to Fox managing team: Samuel,Oscar and Luis !!! Worst we have to pay 250 USD for insurance which was not mentioned on the expedia infact we paid 80 USD on site of expedia as an insurance and den paid 250 here so intotal we paid 330 USD jus for insurances... Plus rent separately

    Beware of their "insurance fees-third party liability" - I booked through Expedia and added insurance but when I got there, they told me that the insurance is not valid in Mexico and charged me an extra $150 for insurance for 4 days. Cuidado con los gastos "ocultos" de esta empresa, ofrecen rentals baratos pero al llegar alli te cobran un "extra de seguros a terceros que es 5 veces superior al valor del arriendo, una estafa!

    This review is to warn people to STAY AWAY from this horrendous rip-off of a car rental company. I have travelled extensively and have rented cars around the world, but have never experienced such lies and thievery. The review is for both ACE rent a car and for FOX, since they are the same company in Cancun. I had made reservations with both ACE and FOX before my arrival because both had good prices and I wanted a backup in case one did not work out. It turned out that they are the same company at the same location. The story begins with the ACE reservation email which gives instructions on how to find the agent in the shuttle/rental car area outside the airport. But, there was no uniformed agent, no shuttle to pick us up, and worst of all, nobody who had ever even heard of ACE. Finally, after long distance phone calls on my cell phone, I found out that ACE was actually at FOX so we walked over there. I had reserved a Fiat 500. I did extensive research before arriving and found out all the details in advance. I knew about the whole insurance scam and was prepared to pay the mandatory liability insurance. When reserving, I had called the rental location to confirm I would actually receive the Fiat 500 and not something “similar.” I was told by the agent that it WOULD be a Fiat 500 and that was the only car they had in that class. I also confirmed the insurance with a phone call to FOX and was told that there was a mandatory liability insurance of $15 USD/day. When I arrived, I was given a Hyundai i10 (NOT the Fiat). I argued extensively and told them that I had received confirmation over the phone that I would get the Fiat but they told me I had no proof of my phone conversation (was I supposed to record it???). They wouldn’t budge so finally, I agreed to take the econobox just to stop wasting my precious vacation time. Next, they told me that mandatory insurance was $30 USD/day even though I confirmed by phone with the company several days before that it would be $15/day. Special thanks to the manager Samuel Ballote Canul who was rude and wouldn’t even speak to us other than to say he won’t do anything to help us. Finally, after wasting about 2.5 hours, we called Firefly car rental who came to pick us up in 5 minutes and rented us a car where liability insurance was included. I would estimate that every 2nd person in line was angry and arguing about the insurance scam. LESSONS LEARNED: ACE rental and FOX rental are the same company. Both have no problem lying to your face and giving you fake pricing and information over the phone and in person. Liability Insurance: This is mandatory in Mexico (your US auto policy will not cover you in Mexico). Some rental companies include this in the price, others do not. This is not a standardized fee. They will charge whatever they want. FOX tried to charge us $30 /day JUST for the mandatory portion. Collision Insurance: This is optional. Your credit card company probably covers this (I know Visa and Amex do). However, the rental company will probably tell you that if you decline collision coverage, they will put a hold on your credit card for the entire cost of the car. AVOID ACE and FOX rental at all costs. They are extremely dishonest and will do everything they can to rip you off.
