Good was good, good prices, but no air conditioning and they do not accept credit cards. The food was very good but the mattress were a little tough. But the portions were large and full of flavor.

This place was amazing! From the hospitality and enthusiastic way they seated us to the ridiculously delicious food...we loved this place. The portions were generous. We ate everything on the table! The yellow beverage is the pineapple water and was so refreshing. My family and I paid $90 after tip for two appraisers, four entreés, four beverages, four bottles of water, and a kids meal. Very doable. So delicious we will definitely come back!

So delicious! Free chips and 3 different salsas. The best chipotle chicken fajitas, guacamole, and natural lemonade & orangeade outdoors friendly waitstaff! Johnny our waiter made us laugh.

This was some of the worst unseasoned bland food that I have ever had. I order taco Pastor which tasted like vinegar and he refused to take it off the bill. I also order the chicken for fajita which was burnt also had no flavor. The only thing that was good was the appetizer of guacamole that I order

The only good thing about this place was their guacamole and margaritas. Other than that the food was not good, their shrimp are not fresh, they are very tiny and too cooked. We never came back during our trip.

Good service, food tasted good, a bit salty to my taste, but was very fresh. Cute little place on the side of the road.

Amazing authenic Mexican cuisine. This place is cash only so be prepared for that. It is outdoor seating only, reviews complaining about no air conditioning are silly!

Augustine is the man! This place is delicious. I ate there almost every night for 2 weeks. Sopes, tacos, fajitas, aguacate relleno con camarone! Exelent service every time. I prefer to speak spanish with them but they do speak english (for all you hardcore gringos). On my fianl day in cancun, i had to stop by just to say goodbye to Augustine before my flight. Hes an awsome guy! Me & my girlfriend loved him and he was always so exited to see us when we came.

Tacun is a hidden jem in Cancun. Great authentic Mexican food in a friendly atmosphere. Not so commercialized like many restaurants in the hotel zone. The staff was very helpful and even assisted us with our toddler who has food allergies. I also have to say the beers and margaritas are the best!

We were greeted with complimentary nachos with 3 different (tasty) salsas upon arrival. We had the shrimp tacos and chorizo quesadilla, both were very tasty. Highly recommend this place for some quick and easy dining.

Food was good but my god this place gets overwhelmed easily when there is even a slightly large amount of orders. One would expect a taqueria to be able to handle a such a demand for their staple. All things considered these food is good and the prices can be reasonable.

Tacun is a great little joint on blvd kukulcan right across from Flamingo mall. We were staying at the nearby flamingo resort and this was the first spot we tried out in Cancun since it was right next to our hotel. I loved the setting, basically a shack on a side lane right off the main Boulevard. Its open air and they have fans in case it gets to hot. The place is cash only so that is something to keep in mind. We started off with the delicious freshly made guacamole and the a couple of mango margaritas. The margaritas were so unbelievably yummy and had been made with actual mango and not just a pre made mix. At around 120 pesos a pop they were an absolute steal. The guacamole came with fresh chips and an assortment of salsas which ranged from mild to supremely spicy! The entrées were excellent as well but the guac and drinks were really the show stealers. Staff are bilingual as with most places in cancun. Very friendly and service is great. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner if you are staying around the flamingo mall. Not very expensive either as our meal came out to around 700 pesos for 2 people including 2 drinks each, entrées and appetizers.

We were so disappointed walking by the touristy spots like outback steak house and bubba gump on our stroll down the hotel zone street UNTIL we stumbled upon Tacun. It was an unassuming spot on the side of the road and it was fantastic!! Auggie (Augustine) the host was so fun and entertaining. We had queso fund ISO with chorizo and fajitas mixtas with shrimp and chicken. It was incredibly delicious! We would definitely come back. Bonus, free wifi! :)

Across from Flamingo Mall. Good place to have a quick bite or have a couple of beers while some in the party want to shop in the Mall. Friendly attentive service with a smile and very good tasting Tacos. Outdoor basic sitting. Do not expect a/c. Just couple of fans. Seems local but very good..

Was definitely the worst place I ate my whole trip...We decided to go because it was next to our hotel...We got the fajitas and the meat tasted like it was cooked yesterday..and no seasoning at all just bland...told our waiter and his response after rolling his eyes at me. was "sorry". He was rude from the get go...acting like it was a burden when I asked for a lime...Long story short THERE ARE ALOT BETTER PLACES TO SPEND YOUR MONEY!

Tacun is located on Kukulcan Blvd in the Hotel Zone. Considering the cost, location, quality, and convenience I would definitely go back again. The wait staff was friendly and the beer was cheap too.

Easy walk from Beach Palace. Wonderful atmosphere. More food than we could eat. The power went out twice and everyone eating in this open cafe style joint was clapping and hooting like they expected it. I think the whole place runs on an extension cord running through the window of the hotel behind it. Great fun and a great spot to people watch. Get the fresh guacamole and tamales.
