Cuenta con una gran variedad de lugares para comer, sólo revisen en algunos es necesario hacer reservación, la calidad de los alimentos es muy buena. No en todos los bares tienen de todas las bebidas, sólo en los bares "premium" (los del lobby). Una nota el personal de "medios" del hotel es muy grosero, me toco que nos "corrieran" literal de un lugar porque iban a tomar unas fotos para sus redes sociales, deberían hacer esas tomas en un horario que no haya huéspedes, o de inicio no dejar que pase la gente.

Aunque es carísimo, valen la pena la extraordinaria comida, la bebida, las albercas y las habitaciones. Pero si lo que les interesa visitar son las playas caribeñas de Cancún, elijan cualquier otro más cerca de la zona hotelera (nosotros hemos ido cuatro veces al Fiesta Americana Coral Beach, aunque no es all inclusive). La playa es prácticamente inexistente: una franja estrecha de arena suave y blanca y una enorme zona de plantas marinas que hacen prácticamente imposible entrar al agua. El hotel tiene maquinaria para quitarla, pero por lo mismo puede ser muy ruidoso y desagradable. El mar no es azul Turquesa, sino café. Del aeropuerto al hotel (y a cualquier parte de Cancún) es más conveniente pedir un Uber, pero por el momento es necesario esperarlo del otro lado del parque, porque a los taxistas no les gusta la idea del ingreso de Uber a la ciudad. De regreso nosotros no encontramos Uber en los alrededores (el hotel está enmedio de la nada) y tuvimos que tomar un taxi que nos cobró más del doble de lo que nos costó el Uber a la llegada. Desde cualquier otro hotel se puede pedir un Uber, pero es mejor esperarlo en la calle, de preferencia en una parada de autobús, para que los taxistas no se den cuenta. En conclusión: nosotros no pagaríamos esos precios (íbamos de trabajo con gastos pagados), pero para quien puede darse esos lujos y simplemente quiere descansar, comer, beber y disfrutar sin visitar playa, es buena opción.

Hotel demasiado grande. Pedir cualquier cosa es todo un proceso burocrático y como es All Inclusive la gente que brinda servicios no tiene el incentivo para hacer las cosas bien. El hotel es enorme y las distancias por ende muy largas. Si se te olvidó algo en el cuarto olvídalo. Bastante mala administración (me deben un reembolso y dos semanas después no me lo han depositado), recepción (cuando llegamos había una fila larga y la gente de la recepción estaban en plática de amigos entre ellos sin atender a los huéspedes).

Me encanta la cadena y sobre todo Moon Palace, desde hace más de 10 años los visito recién remodelaron habitaciones, restaurantes, lobby y estancias principales del resort. Restaurante Bugambilias ha bajado mucho si calidad y variedad en alimentos, en cambio La Góndola, actualizó su carta y les quedó excelente. En su departamento de Vacation Planer su ejecutivo Lucía, desanima al más optimista, pésimo servicio, la cuestión de los créditos, para un turista nacional no es tan conveniente por el tipo de cambio, ya que están tasados en dólares los costos.

Fui a pasar el 24 de dic con mi familia. Me toco quedarme en la sección Nizuc. Las instalaciones son excelentes. Las habitaciones son enormes. La comida muy buena. Es un todo incluido así que adentro del hotel no se gasta un solo peso. También, puedes moverte entre los diferentes hoteles de la cadena Palace para usar las instalaciones y comer, y todo eso va incluido. Hay en Cozumel, playa del Carmen y Cancun, y puedes ir a cualquiera de estos si te encuentras cerca aunque no estés hospedado en ellos. Como se imaginarán, el costo por noche es muy muy muy muuuuuy alto. Así que deben decidir si lo que quieren es ir a Cancun a relajarse, para lo cual este hotel es excelente, o si van a turistear y a andar de pata de perro, y en ese caso no conviene pagar un hotel tan caro.

Es un hotel maravilloso, muy completo ami que me gusta caminar por la mañana y noche en la playa tiene una vista hermosa,el andar en bicicleta y recorrer sus jardines y entrar ala reserva ecologica y encontrarte con tejones-mapaches -venados una gran variedad de aves , su campo de golf es enorme y bonito,el entrar al spa muy limpio unos baños de vapor y masaje q te purifica tu cuerpo. sus restaurantes muy elegantes y muy buena comida, sus habitaciones amplias y muy limpias para un buen descanso,el area de juegos para los niños muy completo . sin lugar a duda es una buena eleccion el hospadarme en este hotel.

Es un bonito hotel, sin embargo no regresaría, por dos importantes razones, 1.- carece de playa como la que uno espera ver en cancún, pues la playa de hotel es oscura, llena de algas y y con mal olor por la acumulación de algas que se pudren en la orilla; y 2.- a pesar de tener 8 restaurantes aprox., estos son notoriamente insuficientes para abastecer la capacidad de huéspedes del hotel, debes esperar un promedio de una hora y media para que te den mesa en cualquiera de los restaurantes, solo en dos puedes reservar pero es con 4 días de anticipación. yo fui en el mes de julio de 2014.

SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE! The only downside is the point system. My husband and I kept trying to use our points to go and do things, such as jet skiing, but we had to pay a bunch more when we had points available. Other than that the staff was super helpful and friendly. The food was good and I definitely miss being there!

We stayed in the golf villas in a family 2 room suite. They give you golf carts to travel around the resort. It is beautiful!! The food was amazing with many restaurants to choose from. The wait staff was truly outstanding and we loved the special treatment we received. Everything was 5* quality. Bring bug spray if you are outside much at the golf course because there are mosquitos. Otherwise enjoy every second!!

Love this place, took my family here for 5 days and we had a blast. My only regret is not having more days. The staff were friendly and probably the best part. The beach could use some clean up from the seaweed but the huge number of pools more than makes up for it. I would recommend this place to any family. Used to go there all the time, stayed there three times and loved it it was beautiful fresh Flower Arrangements in the lobby beautiful at Christmas time. Went for a visit just a day stay in February 2017 and it looked horrible plastic flowers in the lobby Beach was unswimmable the place looked run down compared to what I was used to. I was shocked and sad because I had so many nice times there previously.

This all makes sense now. I was married in 2009 at Moon Palace. My guests and myself were served tainted alcohol. Nobody passed out or ended up in the hospital however what was served out of a very authentic looking bottle was not what we ordered. I remember clearly ordering a sky vodka and redbull. I was served something that tasted like battery acid and redbull. I can remember a friend ordering a Jack and Coke. The Jack was not Jack and the drink was disgusting. Even though the news recently broke this story.... this has been going on for sometime. These resorts are trying to save money at our expense. Thankfully myself, friends and family did not take the drinking too far. Who knows what could have been. I have emailed the resort looking for an explanation.

The customer service at this resort is the worst I have ever received. I would describe it as disgusting and disgraceful. During check out, Amy at Nizuc, charged me $1000 even though I had already payed my required $1500 for three days. She made my husband and I run and return to our room to find my receipt, she did nothing to try to resolve the problem on her end. My family and I nearly missed our flight, and she only stood there saying we must give her the next payment. She then proceeded to call security as if we were thieves. When I asked her to find the receipt she finally called someone. She was heard telling them that even though the transaction was done manually she could not find and did not have the receipt in her paperwork. I showed her my bank account that had already been charged and she refused to believe that. She refused to remove the resort bracelets from my families wrists. I was considering making this my location of vacation but not after this awful service. My family and I have decided to never return to any of the Palace resorts.

Stay at the sunrise hotel, was pretty good, 4 large buffets to eat at and 2 sit down style restaurants, not the best Asian cuisine. Lobby is on the darker side compared to nizuc hotel lobby. Sunrise has a lot of meeting/conference rooms. Beach is really dirty because of seaweed overgrowth.

I visited the resort for a East Indian wedding. I think the resort had amazing decor options and tonnes of venues for weddings. This is a great pick for a destination wedding. The wedding ceremony was in a open air gazebo on the grass but close to the beach. I forgot to take pics but I do have pictures of the indoor reception, they had a photo booth as well. The East Indian food was surprisingly tasty but the rest of the resort food was quite greasy and salty. The resort is very big so it is easy to get lost during your first couple days. All in all, I would say this place is great for weddings but I would not go for a vacation.

Beautiful room with balcony, lots to do for children of ALL ages, the rooms are luxuries and large, staff actually attentive to customers (even around the pool, they come to you to ask if you need anything), love the café, lots of restaurant choices!!! Welcome experience was nice, and got checked in almost immediately. Stay away from the timeshare presentation which is very painful. Resort credits are good but vacation planners sell hard to buy alternatives and avoid using resort credits. In room service is fantastic, try all the restaurants and they are all great. The food portions are small but we can always order again. Most of the stuff within the resort can be covered in 5 days, unsure if we will come to the same location and might try other locations.

Firstly the wrist band system is a drag and gets annoying. But also if you happen to lose it they make you pay $110. The restaurants are always booked and have a 2 hour wait for dinner unless you want to go at 4. The staff can be unprofessional and rude, barging into your room and giving terrible service at the various restaurants. The amenities are decent but take your money elsewhere it is not worth it.

The resort is clean/well kept and the staff very accommodating. We had stayed at the resort last year and had a stay worthy of 5 stars, however upon arriving this time around they had lost our reservation, moved us to the Grande from the Sunrise, told us twice that there were no rooms available, and even tried to move us to some of their partner hotels on the main strip. The whole process was very disappointing. When we finally did get a room after moving our luggage around and going back and forth with the concierge, the room was located at the furthest possible location with respect to the pools and restaurants; plus as an added bonus... there was construction going on across the path from our room.

Currently staying at this resort for a family wedding. So for it has been nice blue the hotel is not without its faults. The property is beautiful. The restaurants have been great and there is not shortage of food options for even the most picky eaters in our group. The check in process was a bit of a disaster. It too us over an hour to get checked in and some in our group (with young children) found there rooms were not ready. (We arrived late to the resort due to a delay in our flight) The rooms are a decent size and comfortable. There is a well stocked mini bar as well. Our balcony has a hammock and 2 chairs and a table for loungeing. One thing to note is this is a LARGE resort. More on this in a bit. I will update this review after my trip.

I think Moon Palace is pretty much the best hotel/resort in Cancun. I liked how the resort is spread out over a huge area of land, instead of a tall building that occupies very little land. I also liked how my room was far away from the lobbies, so it was very peaceful. I was able to spend most of my hotel credits on things like swimming with the dolphins, which was awesome! The staff were very friendly to us during out entire stay. For all the restaurants that we went to, we were seated almost immediately! There was no waiting at all! Everything was perfect except for the beach. The pools were amazing. The restaurants had delicious food. But, the beach smelled horrible and there was a ton of seaweed. Still, I will definitely stay at Moon Palace the next time I visit Cancun.

Went for a wedding August 2015. Despite the fact we reserved a one bed room when we arrived not only was the entire wedding moved to the sunshine hotel instead of Nizuc we were given a two bed room. The attitude of the front desk staff is terrible and they do not hide their dislike of tourists. Despite the fact 75% of those who stay speak English a surprising number of the staff have no English in their vocabulary. On our first night in the room my wife cut her foot on glass which was on the floor in our room. The hotel staff had an attitude as if it was our fault even though it was our first day only hours after we arrived. Did I mention the beach was unusable because of seaweed? We will never stay at any resort operated by Palace Resorts again. Not worth the extra cost when both the resorts we stayed in (Secrets Silver Sands and The Royal Suites Turquesa by Palladium) were cheaper and better.

I totally agree 1500 points is a scam n a headache to spend. The tours n everything else is very expensive. There is no beach at all as there are only see weeds n it is very smelly. Some of the staff was very rude especially at the spa. Once we were asked to leave from the resturant while I was still eating because it was 6 pm. Very very poor management . This was my 3rd time in Cancun n worst experience. A day before our arrival they called us and told us that they are moving us to a different property some 30 miles away. We planned our trip with different families n we had fight to be at the same place.

Best family resort with 5 star service - excellent staff (excluding front desk and vacation planners), clean rooms, great food - perfect vacation resort for the family. Since they set the bar so high, there are few things I can criticize. Cons: 1) Too much pressure to buy their Timeshare - I wasted 2 half days just attending the seminar and trying to get the guys off my back. The timeshare package was really worth it, but ended up saying "No" because of the sheer pressure to sign up on the spot. 2) Nobody was there to guide us on the facilities that this resort provided - they all were just busy trying to sell us the timeshare. 3) The front desk and vacation planner staff were horrible and had no courtesy to deal with customers - they really need some training. Pros: 1) Best family resort - clean, lots of facilities inside the resort itself 2) The $1500 resort credits were amazing - but ended up wasting it on buying SPA products at 10 times the prices just to use the credits....no body was there to guide us on how to use the credits 3) The Japanese Restaurant "MOMO" was the highlight 4) Overall excellent food, drinks and support staff - love the people and Spanish language 5) The daily night shows were very good – we loved the Christmas special event – really focused on kids. 6) The interior of the resort was great - esp. the restaurants were well done. It was fine dining experience. You will like this place if you like to be treated in a royal style…truly a 5 star resort.

I would not go back to this place if I was offered a first class ticket and their "suite". It was HORRIBLE! Service, Food, Accomodations - Understaffed (I felt sorry for the employees), Accommodations were rundown - We paid for an ocean view suite. After waiting almost an hour to check in; they "tried" to put us in a rundown motel 6 kind of room that was under renovation overlooking a concrete parking lo…Amazing right? - Alcohol was bottom of the line - I could go on and on and on - pools were cold - never had towels available. I am so mad we spent the kind of money we did PS I have never written a bad review IN MY LIFE First vacation where I wanted to come home - to FREEZING weather. This is the best resort ever! Just remember things are not always perfect. The difference.. THEY WILL MAKE IT RIGHT. I have never had service like this, Fun for the entire family for sure. If you are a beach person the one bad thing is the seaweed. But you can use any of the palace resorts there so you can shuttle for free to the other properties for the better beaches.

The resort is a made up of three sections. We stayed at the Sunrise section, room 1817. We found our stay to be enjoyable but somewhat less impressive than we were expecting. Food is good in all restaurants. Gondola and Las tacos stands out. They do carry Don Julio tequila which is great. You need to ask for it by name. We came as VIP guests with a black band. We were a bit put off by the classification of the guests. There are sections by the pools and in the loby that are off limits to all other than white bands. Guest relations messed up an anniversary request for the room two times. Finally on the day before departure it was fulfilled. Shows at the end of the day were nicer than others we experienced in the past. Ice cream and coffee bar was really nice. Massage, menicure and pedicure were also nice but not excellent. The beach is a let down. There is a lot of seaweed even with cleanup and quite often there was sewage smell on the beach. Not sure but the two may be related. The play area behind nizuc section is excellent. Check out the grand section even if traveling with kids as it was a nice change of pace. Enjoyed the resort even though there were some shortcomings.

we were planning on attending wedding at moon palace but due to the requirements they TRY to impose on attendees---THEY CAN FORGET IT. AFTER talking to their staff,a guest not staying at moon palace,and paying $350 a night, is required to pay $95 per person for a pass that ALLOWS you and your family 1 hour before wedding on property. GRANTED, the wedding party is paying a FORTUNE to just have wedding there,I think is ridiculous . If people planning events here would BOYCOTT hotels that do this,MAYBE THIS WOULD GET THEIR ATTENTION. I have been to several resorts in CANCUN FOR VARIOUS functions----MOON PALACE is Differently off my list

We stayed at Moon Palace for 3 nights in late May 2015. It was part of wedding with 50 rooms in total. The location and premises are very good. The experience was less than pleasant. Food was average at best. Drinks were watered down. Biggest fraud is the resort credit. Your best option is to let them go waste. You will be happy if you do so. If you try to use them you are in for a big surprise and MANY unpleasant dealings. Even though you are supposed to be able to book 30 to 12 days prior to arrival you almost never can. The website does not allow you to book any meaningful activity. It takes the staff 1-2 hours to book each activity once you are onsite and sitting with them in person. The rates are inflated 2 to 8 times. We were able to snorkel for less than the amount the resort would like to charge us for the tax. In between they tried to make sales pitch on timeshare or club membership. The staff is helpless, not well trained or worse purposefully so. By the time you are able to understand all restrictions and applicable rules and regulations, it is time to go. Overall, you will save yourself a lot of agony if you avoid the Moon Palace.

Shadiest Resort ever. Please be careful if you are booking anything with them on-line or before your visit. They will take a lot of money as a deposit for your room, and then refuse to refund the money when you cancel your reservation (given unforeseen circumstances), claiming they have undisclosed cancellation policies not listed on their website. This place is a complete scam. They have lied to me repeatedly about their policies, and are refusing to refund a substantial amount of my money. I would expect far better from a resort. Buyer beware.

Went to this resort this pat week and overall it was a nice place with good staff and nice amenities. I am giving this three stars, however for two reasons. First, when we were trying to book events using resort credits, we were instructed to back to the checkin desk to register the credits. We had to wait in the long line with all the checkins which was very inconvenient. As it turns out, all we needed to do was validate the credit card for the taxes. It took less than a minute. It would have been much better to do this at checkin, or if we would have been able to do this in the actual place we were tryin to redeem the credits. Even a kiosk would have been great. Maybe they will come up with something better soon. Second was at checkout. We had to catch a 5am shuttle from the lobby and when we got to the lineup, there were about four people there already. The line grew to about ten and there were only two people there. Evidently one of the attendants was not one who even could help because when I became impatient after about ten mins of waiting, I walked up to ask her to help. I did have a little edge to my voice, but she lashed back telling me that she cannot help, because she works in accounting. My feedback is to have the desk properly staffed especially when there are already groups that are planned to leave. Also, for the rude woman: one must understand the perception of patrons at all times. Either a simple apology, some sympathy for the situation, an attept to get more help, or better yet, just do the accounting work in private. To all in line, it seemed to us that there were two people that could help, but only one wanted to help. Overall it was a great trip and a beautiful property. I just firmly believe these two processes need some refinement.

Best resort ive ever been to! My wife and i went May 3 for one week. The staff are amazing. If you want something to eat or drink and its not at the location you are at they will go get it for you. The staff definately went way out if their way for all our wants and needs. Not one person at the resort said no to me. The food is amazing and there is 14 restaurants which is crazy. Also the rooms are beautiful and very modern. The mini bar with the liquor dispenser is a plus, also the whirlpool and new lcd tv. Yes the beach sucks but you can go to beach or sun palace and enjoy the beach and resort amenities there. The resort also has a night club which was packed when we were there and they had a decent set. The resort is massive but if it was small you would not have so many bars and restaurants to chose from.

Unlimited golf and resort credit is a joke. Five day trip with one available tee time which was late in the afternoon. Resort credit is really a discount off of inflated prices for tours, massages, golf (if you are lucky enough to get a tee time), etc. Food is average and the beach is small and filthy.
